Our Team
Victoria Wilkinson-Martelli
Inspire Your Space created by Victoria Wilkinson back in 1997 as the then Victoria's Interior Design & Decorating. The business grew over the years and was soon trading as Victoria's Interiors.
Fast forward ten years: a marriage to builder Rick Martelli, two children and a wealth of knowledge later, the business evolved into the Inspire Your Space of today.
Victoria Wilkinson-Martelli has over 25 years experience in the industry. She has attended numerous interior design expos nationally and globally. Her passion for her work has seen her become one of the premier interior designers in Western Australia.
As Inspire Your Space has grown, so too has the areas that are covered. Everything from interior decor and colour selections, through to home makeovers and renovations, styling & staging homes for sale, along with custom, bespoke furniture design. Inspire Your Space can do it all!
Victoria also has a strong ethos towards assisting clients with decluttering their homes. As someone who struggled herself for a long time, she knows first hand how hard it can be to 'let go' of items, especially those that hold sentimental attachment. This is an area that Victoria has studied at great length and is constantly seeing evolution in.
Rick Martelli
Rick Martelli has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, including practicing as a registered builder (licence 11828).
Rick is a previous building inspector for the former Builders' Registration Board and Building Commission of WA, where he provided technical services and compliance surveillance.
Rick is a regular attendee of the State Administrative Tribunal as an expert witness, as well as a previous NatHERS assessor.
Rick also has an extensive trade background.
Rick is able to offer clients expert advice on renovations & extensions that Inspire Your Space is engaged to undertake.
Rochelle purdy
Rochelle has decades of experience in luxury, customer-centric business and her natural eye for design and innovative thinking is exuded in all of her projects.
Rochelle had recently joined the Inspire Your Space team as our blog writer but her talents were too many to restrict to the page.
Founder of ‘Neat’ and Co-Founder of the Inspired Group, creating elegant yet functional spaces is where Rochelle’s passion truly resides as evident with her years of experience assisting clients with storage solutions and intentional, productive living. As a busy mum of young twin girls, functional organisation systems for running an efficient home are her utmost priority. Team this with her passion for beautiful spaces and you have a powerhouse ready to tackle any task!
Often found making over the organisational systems within the homes of her friends and family and tweaking design elements (sometimes without permission but ALWAYS well received), Rochelle’s capabilities for creative and innovative solutions have been extensively tested to bring a structure to her clients that work for them and require very little maintenance once established!
