Connecting with the Community
Inspire Your Space is heavily involved with Kind Hearted Australia Ltd, a Perth-based charity founded by Victoria Wilkinson-Martelli, that is dedicated to providing transitional housing to women & their children escaping domestic violence, as well as assisting within child mental health areas. IYS currently donates 10% from all our projects to Kind Hearted, as well as supports the charity in any other ways possible.
Kind Hearted is currently working towards building the first of their transitional housing projects called 'Kookoorniny'. Kookoorniny means 'beautiful (to make oneself)' in the Nyoongar language, a word that is very fitting for this amazing and much needed program.
